Description: With the resignation of Chairman Norman Bay on February 3, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is left with only two sitting Commissioners and faces a lack of quorum for the first time in over 20 years.  Without the quorum necessary for the Commission to issue a decision, how will FERC continue to regulate interstate transmission of electricity, natural gas, and oil and review proposals?

On Wednesday, February 22, from 10:00am to 11:00am (ET), FERC General Counsel David Morenoff and colleagues from the Office of the General Counsel held a teleconference
to discuss and answer questions regarding how the absence of a quorum affects FERCs operations, what delegated authority FERC's staff has to act during the lack of quorum, and what this means for cases before FERC. This program will be interactive and speakers will attempt to answer all of your questions.
