Description: You check your mail and amidst the court communications and invoices you see something marked “Personal & Confidential,” from the Office of Lawyer Regulation. You open it up and get that sinking feeling--someone has filed a grievance against you and you need to respond. This seminar will aim to demystify that process and guide lawyers through the ethical ins and outs of responding to grievances, and will include tips that may help avoid grievances in the first place.
