Please join the Privacy Law Committee for an exciting program on cybersecurity. The program provides an overview of the existing state and federal data security regulatory schemes in the United States, and the debate surrounding recent cybersecurity bills. The program also includes a discussion of the Cybersecurity Act of 2012 and related legislation, the FTCs data security authority under Section 5 of the FTC Act, and the cybersecurity Executive Order recently proposed by the White House.
