The speakers will discuss why they chose a flat fee billing structure. They will delve into the nuts and bolts and answer the following questions: How does flat fee billing work? When do clients pay? What if someone doesn't pay? Do you still require a retainer? What does your Fee Agreement look like? How did you determine your fees? How do you protect yourself so you're not undercharging? How do you provide for unexpected legal needs? Has a client ever contested the fee after the fact? (i.e. You charge $1000 for a court hearing that then only lasts from 8:30 until 9:45 am.)
