Description: The program analyzes the most important insurance law cases decided in recent monthsThe program does more than summarize the facts and holdings of leading cases. It explains how each case fits into the law's development, how it applies in other contexts, and how lawyers can attack or distinguish the case. The program analyzes cases cited within the case under discussion and, in some instances, the social or political background of the case. Power Point slides are arranged in the order that I discuss the cases in the program. So that listeners don't have to remember the exact names of the cases I give each case a nickname that appears at the top of the Power Point slide.John K. DiMugno is a member of the California bar. He is an advisor and expert witness on a wide variety of insurance coverage and bad faith issues for both policyholders and insurance companies. He is the Editor–in–Chief of Insurance Litigation ReporterCalifornia Tort Reporter, and California Insurance Law and Regulation Reporter, the author of numerous articles, and a co-author of several books, including  “California Insurance Law Handbook,” “California Insurance Laws Annotated,” and “Catastrophe Claims: Insurance Coverage for Natural and Man-Made Disasters.”
