The speakers will provide an overview of how Ontario Water Law covers the key laws and policy documents that establish multiple barriers adopted by Ontario to ensure safe drinking water in the province.
This will feature a primer on Ontario's multi-barrier approach to protecting drinking water, including source water protection under Ontario's Clean Water Act.
As Regulators are increasingly looking to individuals for responsibility for environmental compliance, the speakers will discuss key provisions and cases that highlight liability of employees, municipal councilors and corporate Directors for environmental compliance.
