Description: IP experts discuss new business models they have developed in response to recent legislation, court decisions, administration changes, and “anti-patent” and “troll” public opinion. In this webinar, Henry Hadad, Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel-Intellectual Property, Bristol-Myers Squibb, will examine how the new contested proceedings at the USPTO affect monetizing pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device patents through litigation, licensing, and sale of patent assets.  He will also review the guidelines for patent eligible subject matter based on recent Supreme Court decisions and other trends and developments in the business of IP.  Currently Chief Intellectual Property Counsel for Bristol-Myers Squibb, Mr. Hadad has practiced IP law for over twenty years, focusing on pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Caren Yusem, an expert on the new IP business landscape, and Robert Greene Sterne, editor-in-chief of Patent Office Litigation, co-moderate.
