Description:
Solid contract drafting skills are essential for anyone involved with transactions or business relationships. Unfortunately, many lawyers lack the specific skills that allow them to effectively and powerfully draft, analyze, and interpret contracts. Instead, they rely on “form contracts” to meet a client’s unique needs. This can put your client in a losing – and often costly – position, which neither your client nor your reputation can afford. Learn the key skills you need to approach every contract drafting situation with knowledge and confidence. Using real-life examples and hands-on exercises, you’ll be introduced to simple and proven techniques for improving the quality of drafted documents. Upon completion, you’ll understand what to draft and how to draft it in order to meet the intentions of the parties involved.
