Roya Vasseghi focuses her practice on employment law and civil litigation. Prior to joining forces with Kellie Budd, Roya founded Vasseghi Law, PLLC. Roya has spent the majority of her career litigating, which gives her valuable insight when counseling her business and employment clients on compliance and risk mitigation. Roya’s litigation background ranges from litigating commercial and employment claims to construction and environmental disputes.
As part of her employment counseling practice, Roya works with companies of varying sizes on employment matters including reviewing and drafting of employment policies, guidance on disciplinary action and termination, and conducting workplace investigations.
Roya also works extensively with physicians and other health care professionals in professional liability and licensing matters, including representation before the various licensing boards in the DMV.
Roya’s experience allows her to zealously advocate for her clients, but also work with her clients to minimize risk and exposure to avoid costly litigation. Roya is a strong litigator, but also understands that litigation may not always lead to the best result for her clients. When litigation is not the best choice, she works with her clients to find creative solutions to achieve their desired outcome.
