Description: Digital technologies and tracking tools are rapidly changing and the privacy landscape is shifting. GDPR went live on May 25, 2018 and organizations struggled to understand their obligations. Many organizations still are not ready.  U.S. privacy law is changing, too, as well as in Canada, Mexico, South America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. How do in-house counsel address the complexities of these requirements from a technical and operational perspective? Do they know what is happening on their websites and applications? How do they handle data? Are they equipped to address their organization’s data and privacy issues? Whether you counsel companies or are in-house counsel yourself, this webinar is designed to give you some tools and processes that can be implemented in any organization to better address data privacy controls within your digital assets.

What you will learn:

  • How digital tracking works
  • How organizations can achieve transparency over their data privacy practices
  • What the legal and regulatory landscape looks like for data privacy
  • Tools that can assist the in-house counsel with operationalizing compliance
  • A review of key takeaways from the course
