Governments and businesses worldwide were rocked by another massive ransomware attack on June 27, 2017. The so-called “Petya” attack exploited some of the same vulnerabilities involved in the historic May 2017 “WannaCry” ransomware attack that crippled hundreds of organizations across more than 150 countries. These and other events have taught us that there are no walls high enough to keep out every dedicated adversary, and it is inevitable that ransomware will continue to be weaponized and used against numerous companies at once.
Join our speakers for this practical webcast on:
-
What ransomware is and why the threat is significant;
-
An overview of the legal considerations in preparing for an attack;
-
U.S. law enforcement’s response to the ransomware threat; and
-
Immediate steps your organization can take to mitigate the risk of falling victim to the next big attack.
