Description: IP experts discuss current practices to reach a positive rate of return on investment and shorter time to money, developed in response recent changes in legislation, court decisions, administration, and “anti-patent” and “troll” public opinion. In this webinar, Philip S. Johnson will share his extensive experience and perspectives as a leading expert in patent law worldwide and discuss the dramatic changes that have occurred and possible additional changes in the future. He will explore the impact of the recent supreme court decisions and the new contested proceedings at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) at the USPTO, the proposed Unified European Patent Court, and international competition from growth economies such as China and India. Caren Yusem, an expert on the new IP business landscape, and Robert Greene Sterne, editor-in-chief of Patent Office Litigation, co-moderate.
