Description:
This webcast explores the insurance options available to in-house counsel for liability coverage associated with providing pro bono legal services. In-house pro bono has grown dramatically in recent years, but obstacles, both real and perceived, still exist, including addressing access to professional liability insurance. While claims related to pro bono are extraordinarily rare, it is a great concern to many in-house volunteers and their employers, which, unlike law firms, do not typically carry such insurance. There are several options for legal departments to address professional liability, which is discussed in detail.
