EAGAN, Minn., March 5, 2010 – West LegalEdcenter announced today that it is collaborating with the Legal Talk Network to offer continuing legal education (CLE) credit for many of the network's programs. Attorneys who currently enjoy Legal Talk Network's podcasts by downloading them from the network's Web site or iTunes also can now receive CLE credit by purchasing the on-demand programs through West LegalEdcenter.

With almost 1.4 million downloads in 2009, Legal Talk Network's programs focus on hot topics in the legal industry and newsworthy legal issues, such as recent Supreme Court decisions and the legal implications of natural disasters like the Haitian earthquake.

The programming is hosted by noted names in the legal industry, such as attorney Robert J. Ambrogi; J. Craig Williams, partner at Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold, LLP; attorney Gina Jytyla; legal technology experts Tom Mighell and Dennis Kennedy; and attorney Larry Cohen. The various programs also have featured high-profile guests, like Erin Brockovich.

By making these programs eligible for CLE credit, West LegalEdcenter allows attorneys to fulfill their CLE requirements with some of the most up-to-date legal analysis and commentary available.

"We've been impressed with the high quality of Legal Talk Network's programming, the caliber of its hosts and guests, and the strength of its marketing strategies. We're pleased to offer their podcasts for CLE credit to West LegalEdcenter customers," said Lee Ann Enquist, vice president of West Professional Development. Enquist was interviewed on Legal Talk Network's flagship Lawyer2Lawyer program to discuss the new partnership.

"We're thrilled to be a content provider in partnership with West LegalEdcenter. Our talk show approach to legal programs is unique, producing timely topics of interest to lawyers," added Lu Ann Reeb, president of Legal Talk Network.
