This informative legislative update will provide a primer to the new health care cost containment and quality improvement bill signed into law by Governor Deval Patrick on August 6, 2012.

The program will begin with a review of the bill by Professor Kevin Outterson of Boston University School of Law. Shortly thereafter, a government panel will present its thoughts on the development and implications of implementing the bill. Finally, there will be an opportunity for the industry and purchasers to react to the passage of this new law.

After this seminar, attendees will know the depths of the bill and the policy decisions that were made in creating this law.
