Criminal defense attorneys facing an ethical issue during a trial or pre-trial situation have to make a quick decision about how to proceed. Frequently the decision involves conflicts between the rules of professional conduct and the attorney-client privilege. In this informative one-hour session, Marty Pinales uses numerous examples and pre-trial scenarios to examine the relationship of ethics in terms of discovery, contraband, and more. Youll learn what every criminal lawyer should do to protect themselves, and their clients, in unethical situations. This presentation includes a lively discussion, as well as, questions and answers that will provide criminal defense attorneys the dos and donts they need to be prepared when their next ethical decision emerges.
