In this one hour presentation, Steven Schorr will take you through the steps of scene investigation and accident reconstruction with a focus on the methods and technology used. You will learn important factors in accidents such as road conditions, driver error, and equipment malfunction, all of which can make it hard for the governments expert to determine the actual cause of an accident. Mr. Schorr will then show you the major pieces of technology in accident and scene investigation and how they can be used to challenge the governments theory of an accident. An in-depth review of total stations, laser scanners, event data recorders (black boxes) will lead to a discussion of how you and your expert can analyze data to prove what really happened. This presentation is a must watch for any lawyer who deals with accident investigations or uses experts to do accident and scene reconstruction.
