Chapter 124, An Act Reforming Alimony in The Commonwealth, was signed by Governor Deval Patrick on September 26, 2011. This Act substantially transforms alimony cases in Massachusetts and on March 1, 2012, G.L. c. 48 to 55 will go into effect. Are you ready?
Join us on the eve of the implementation to hear from the members of the Legislative Alimony Task Force. Judges Paula M. Carey and Angela M. Ordonez will answer all your questions about application of the law and various fact situations.
