If someone attends an educational institution with the hope of securing employment as a result of that degree or certification, and does not land a job within a reasonable period after graduation, what legal remedies are available? Some law schools have recently been sued for misrepresentation. This presentation will take a look at consumer protection laws using law school advertising as a case study. Trends in law school applications and job prospects will be explored. Will we be seeing more suits against educational institutions? How will this affect advertising practice?
