Description: The two countries experiencing the greatest economic growth are India and China. Each possesses unique resources and opportunities for US-based companies. China has concentrated on contract manufacturing, while India is more focused on attracting service industries. In 2007, the Indian economy grew almost nine percent, which closely parallels China’s growth. This course will focus on why you must adopt a different approach and mindset when dealing with China and India and what you cannot afford to ignore about doing business with these emerging giants. It will cover both legal and cultural barriers that all foreign direct investors encounter.
