In-house counsel are typically good at the technical skills of their jobs. However, a busy in-house attorney often neglects networking activity. Networking isn't just about finding jobs anymore! A good network can save you time by helping you identify outside counsel and vendors, find a form you need on short notice, or make you look like a hero to your client since you have had an opportunity to vet your ideas. Whatever your needs, effective networking is a must have skill. A panel of your peers will explain what it takes to effectively network and run you through some short exercises to help you build that network.
