Description: With an emphasis on the low-budget case, we discuss the use of social media and the Internet to locate evidence to enhance your client’s case. We discuss the most common social media sites, and review ways attorneys can utilize these sites to obtain evidence. We will discuss the most used computer-based devices, including smart phones, tablets, and GPS systems, and provide practice tips for obtaining the evidence thereon.
Join family law attorney Jennifer J. Riley as she provides practical advice and guidance on finding evidence on the web, and using the evidence to assist your client’s case when cost is a primary restriction. Also on the panel will be Jennifer Ellise, Attorney at Lowenthal & Abrams P.C. and Judge Jeannine Turgeon of the Court of Common Pleas.
