Join us for an in-depth review and analysis of recent case law and statutes impacting child support and alimony determinations. The experienced panelists will address the application of the three Supreme Judicial Court decisions (Rodman v. Rodman, Doktor v. Doktor, Chin v. Merriot) to the Alimony Reform Act of 2011, M.G.L. c. 208, sec. 48-55 and the continuing discussion on the application of these decisions in their practices.
Associate Justice Amy Lyn Blake (Massachusetts Appeals Court) and Judge Randy J. Kaplan (Essex County Probate and Family Court) will discuss recent situations involving alimony and child support that have been discussed and decided by the judiciary given the Supreme Judicial Court decisions.
