Ohio CLE Library subscription gives lawyers unlimited access to Webcasts, on-demand programs on state law

EAGAN, Minn., June 12, 2008 – Staying current on state law is vital to the success of many attorneys. But keeping track of all the new cases and changes can be a full-time job itself. Today, West launched a new online subscription service that allows lawyers to learn about changes in Ohio law while meeting their continuing legal education (CLE) requirements: the West LegalEdcenter Ohio CLE Library.

An Ohio CLE Library subscription gives attorneys unlimited access to Ohio-specific law with live Webcasts and on-demand programs on hot topics and legal issues as they emerge. The library contains more than 150 programs that are available anytime and anywhere lawyers have Internet access.

Drawing on the expertise of West LegalEdcenter’s long roster of distinguished speakers, the programs in the Ohio CLE Library allow attorneys to learn from the leading authorities in the legal industry. Users also can link directly from program materials to Westlaw®, the number one preferred online legal research tool.

“West LegalEdcenter’s Ohio CLE Library helps busy attorneys cut through the thousands of new cases, proposed pieces of legislation and hot topics that arise each year and focus solely on the changes that affect their state,” said Lee Ann Enquist, vice president, West Professional Development. “Often within days of a court decision, users can learn about the case’s implications on state law, making their client work more productive. And since the library is entirely online, lawyers can take advantage of its offerings from home, work or the coffeehouse.”
